All CCU units sold into the market come with a 12 month warranty, with the bulk of these machines sourced from Barloworld Equipment’s Cat Rental Store. Each unit therefore already has a detailed and cared for operational history, and only one previous owner.  

These low operating hour machines are ready to deliver years of performance, with units ranging from the traditional Cat workhorses servicing the building sector, such as the versatile skid steer and backhoe loader, and extending to the Cat 740 (40t) articulated truck.

CCU benefits

Foremost is the fact that all machines have been inspected and serviced by Barloworld Equipment’s highly skilled technicians, and in the process evaluated to the strict professional standards prescribed by Caterpillar. On ex-Cat Rental Store machines sold as CCU units, all ground engaging tools (GET) are in an as ‘near new condition’. Additionally, all CCU machines sold were also originally enrolled and serviced from first commissioning on Caterpillar’s SOS (Scheduled Oil Sampling) conditioning monitoring programme.
