Becker Mining Africa’s Simplex lightweight aluminium cylinders enhance efficiency and safety when lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling and positioning heavy equipment and machinery.

“Simplex Silver Lite aluminium cylinders, which reduce carrying weights by up to 60%, are fitted with handles for easy portability and positioning, as well as for reduced operator fatigue,” says Becker Mining Africa’s product manager, Eugene Davids.

The RAS spring return range is available in 13 standard models from 30 – 150 tons and the RAL lock nut spring return series has capacities between 50 and 150 tons, and the RAC centre hole range is available between 30 – 60 tons and the RACD centre hole range has capacities up to 150 tons

Aluminium spring return cylinders are fitted with a heavy duty spring that ensures fast and full retraction. Other features include high flow quality couplers and large bearing surfaces for side load protection. The hard anodised housing and piston reduces wear and offers protection against corrosion. Rod wipers shield the inner cylinder from dirt.

Lock nut spring return cylinders have heat treated steel load caps for enhanced strength and a stop ring for piston blow-out protection. Maintenance requirements are minimal.
