BMG’s specialist technical resources division, which provides and supports total process solutions across the entire BMG product range, has launched a new field services facility.
“This service, which mobilises specialist skills to support South African operating plant, complements a company’s own maintenance capability to ensure the highest level of plant reliability,” says Dave Russell, group technical director, BMG – Bearing Man Group. “Specialist services include installation, adjustment and maintenance of components, shaft and pulley alignment, balancing, oil sampling and analysis and critical equipment inspections and lubrication schedules.
“BMG also offers technical supervision and on-site quality checks. Maintenance training and fault diagnosis also forms an important part of BMG’s field services.”
The company’s technical applications consulting service encompasses application assessments, product solution proposals, failure analysis and competitive product comparisons. The company also has well equipped product test facilities and a specialist oil analysis service which consists of laboratory based sampling and analysis, as well as on site analysis and filtration and flushing.
