Machinery Contractors is situated in the Industrial Area of Brits 50 kilometres from Pretoria a 100 kilometres from Johannesburg and 70 kilometres from Rustenburg. The geological position in Brits allows The Company to support the Platinum, Chrome, Granite and General Engineering Industries in South Africa and Internationally. However, The Company already supplied rebuild Front End Loaders with Manufactured Tyre Handlers to the Coal and Diamond Mines.
The Company has 2 x 900m² workshops consisting of:
A fully equipped Machine Shop with equipment like Lathe Machines, Milling Machine and a Hydraulic Press Brake to assist us in being independent in many ways and allow us to control critical deadlines and to cut down on our customer’s downtime when it comes to urgently required fabricated components.
A Fabrication Workshop where Earthmoving attachments such as Buckets, Quick Couplers – Our own designed Bull Dog Range, Heavy Duty Forks, Rake Booms, Slab Masters etc., are manufactured and repaired. H-Frames, Tower Frames and other Earthmoving Components are repaired and linebored to operate again within it’s original specifications. We also manufacture Quick Coupling Tyre Handlers capable of handling any size of tyre. The Tyre Handler can be attached to a Front End Loader. The Tyre Handlers can be operated with a remote control unit, enabling the operator outside the driver’s cab, to control precise movements of the tyre and rim onto the Earthmoving Truck or Machine. Hydraulic and Pneumatic Drill Rigs are manufactured and can be attached to Excavators, Front End Loaders and onto Three Wheeler Machines used in the wood log industry. Graders with Hydraulic controlled manoeuvring coupled to tractors are also manufactured in our workshop.
The Company offers field service in respect of Fabrication requirements, including on-site lineboring. We do general engineering as well as sand blasting.
The Company also manufactures and erects steel structures for factory buildings, sheds and stores. The best quality steel is used to fit the needs of tough applications in the Earthmoving Industry.
