NEW HOLLAND W190B WHEEL LOADER
The new look of power performance
When you climb into the latest W190B Wheel Loader from New Holland, you quickly appreciate that it offers a lot more than meets the eye. The W190B wheel loader offers several exciting enhancements that are set to improve productivity, operator comfort and serviceability.
New Tier 3 Engine
Like many of New Holland’s machines, the W190B has been upgraded with a CNH Tier 3A engine, which uses the direct injection Common Rail and EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) systems to drastically reduce fuel consumption, noise and pollution. The engine features four valves per cylinder, bigger displacement 6.7 litres, higher maximum power 169kW, increased maximum torque and electronically controlled Multiple Work Modes. In addition, the EEMS (Engine Electronic Management System) controls the right flow of fuel into the cylinders and the right time.
Integrated Hydraulic and Steering System
The new load sensing closed centre hydraulic system, with two variable displacement axial piston pumps, delivers its power when and where it is needed depending on the work load. The improved hydraulic system also allows independent simultaneous movements.
Steering effectiveness and safety are assured by a demand valve, which prioritizes the diversion of required pressurized flow from one of the two pumps to the orbital steering valve and either of the two steering cylinders. The system contributes towards improved fuel economy, reduced heat generation and optimized production cycles.
Advanced Cooling System
The advanced cooling module is a cube positioned in the centre of the machine. The coolant, hydraulic oil and transmission oil radiators are located around three sides of the cube. The hydraulic oil tank is positioned in the centre of the cube to optimize both space and the cooling effect. The position of the hydraulic oil tank, high above the pumps also reduces the risk of cavitation. A variable speed hydrostatic fan, automatically actuated by a thermostatic sensor, draws fresh and clean air from outside through the radiators and hydraulic oil tank. A switch in the cab allows the operator to select the fan counter rotation mode for easy and automatic radiator cleaning.
Better Balance
The introduction of the compact and centrally mounted cooling module has resulted in increased free space around the rear frame. This has allowed New Holland engineers to reposition the engine and its components all the way back on the rear frame. This results in a smaller counterweight on the rear of the machine and also better protection of the radiators and cooling fan. It also allows better access to the engine components for servicing requirements.
New Space Cab
The W190B is now equipped with a completely new and advanced cab. Access to the cab has been improved thanks to the 580mm wide door. The internal volume of the cab has been increased by 13% while the glass area enhanced to provide perfect all round visibility. The steering column is tiltable and includes a high-tech dashboard enabling the operator to make easy functional checks from every position. The newly contoured and suspended seat, adjustable in all directions, incorporates a retractable seat belt and adjustable arm rests. A cab designed to provide maximum comfort and safety allowing the operator to fully concentrate on the job at hand.
Easy Maintenance and Service Accessibility
The W190B is designed for simple and easy maintenance thanks to excellent ground level accessibility to all the important components. Wide side panels are light and easy to lift and automatically self-lock in a safe position while open. They provide access to most of the engine components and access to the hydraulic tank is provided by a third liftable panel located on the top of the engine hood, behind the cab.
All this adds up to maximum comfort, safety, efficiency and economy in the day-to-day use of the New Holland W190B.
